New Valheim Feature Will Make Inventory Management Easier

A Valheim developer has announced a new feature set that will be included in the next Hildir's Quest update and should make managing inventory when using containers much simpler. Together with this useful new addition, Valheim will soon receive a brand-new biome, new NPCs to interact with, and a ton of other material.

As Valheim went viral in 2021, Iron Gate's debut game quickly rose to become one of the most popular early-access games in recent memory, despite being technically unfinished. Iron Gate's Norse mythology-themed adventure, which is a part of the hugely well-liked co-op survival crafting genre, was able to differentiate itself from the competition thanks to a number of critical aspects. The experience is deep and enjoyable thanks to its startling physics and difficult stamina-based combat, and it is especially satisfying to feel that you have advanced from using only a loincloth and bare hands to living in a magnificent castle.

Players in Valheim must handle a variety of resources in order to make their armor, create shelters, and enhance their tools, just like in many survival crafting games. As players wind up having a variety of chests housing their different commodities, this rapidly leads to some tiresome inventory management. Fortunately, Jonathan Smrs, the developer of Valheim, has demonstrated a new feature that will make this much simpler. Players can instantly deposit any holding items that match a container's inventory by using the "stack all" button while interacting with a container. During a long collecting expedition, this eliminates any busywork because players can simply interact with each chest and push the button to rapidly arrange everything in its correct spot.

Although a release date or window for the update have not yet been announced, this new feature will be included in the next Hildir's Quest Update for Valheim. In addition to bringing the game's namesake NPC Hildir, the update will provide players access to new dress options and a mechanism for restyling their hair. The Ashlands update, which introduces an entirely new biome with dangerous new foes along with new weapons and other stuff, will eventually come after Hildir's Quest.

The Xbox release date of Valheim on March 14 has been guaranteed, even though no dates have yet been specified for these updates. The developers of Valheim will hopefully be able to start releasing more content updates at a more consistent pace with the help of the increased support from the huge console player base. Nonetheless, despite being in Early Access, gamers shouldn't have any trouble spending numerous hours exploring Valheim's stunning procedurally built Norse afterlife.
