Overwatch 2 Reveals Season 3 Roadmap and Trailer

Activision Blizzard keeps updating Overwatch 2 with new content, cosmetics, and other features because it is a live service, and the Season 3 roadmap and trailer have just been released. Overwatch 2 has already grown since its release, much like the original Overwatch game, and will do so even more with the goodies from Season 3 that the most recent roadmap has confirmed.

The Overwatch team has officially announced a variety of features for Overwatch 2's Season 3 including the already-teased map Antarctica Peninsula and a limited-time event and collaboration. The release of Season 3 will bring back many of the features that made Season 2 of Overwatch 2 so popular, including skins, the Shambali Monastery map, and other features. Season 3 of Overwatch 2 is anticipated to have a cycle of skins, emotes, and more available for fans with extra Overwatch Coins, similar to the rotating cosmetics shop in Seasons 1 and 2.

The Overwatch Twitter account published a trailer showcasing several aspects of the most recent content drop included in the new update in anticipation of the launch of Season 3 on February 7, 2023. The brief video gives an in-depth look at the new Kiriko Mythic skin, which will increase the launch hero's lack of variety in appearance compared to the original Overwatch characters. In the following section of the Overwatch 2 Season 3 trailer, cosmetics for Ashe, D.Va, Genji, Junkrat, Junker Queen, Mei, Moira, Reaper, and Zenyatta are highlighted, with a clear distinction between that which will be included in the battle pass and those that can be purchased individually from stores.

The official Overwatch 2 Season 3 roadmap states that there will be a Valentine's Day event based on Cupid Hanzo and a Pachi Mari-themed event with a new game style. Later this month, the Overwatch World Cup will return. On February 13, a dating sim called "LoverWatch" has been confirmed, and on March 7, a partnership with the anime One Punch Man will start. A Honey Bee Mercy was revealed for the Overwatch 2 starter pack, in addition to the Season 3 offerings already mentioned, and the ultimate battle pass bundle includes Beekeeper Sigma in addition to tier skips and Overwatch Coins. Fresh Twitch drops have also been confirmed.

In contrast to Activision Blizzard's previous teasers for Overwatch 2 Antarctic Peninsula, the Season 3 clip illustrates how it may appear in battle with an Orisa pushing a Bastion and Tracer before being eliminated by an enemy Wrecking Ball. From February 14 to February 28, there is the Ultimate Valentine event; from March 7 to April 6, there is a One Punch Man collaboration; and from March 21 to April 4, there will be PachiMarchi celebrations.
