According to Genshin influence players, Dragonspine and Sumeru have similarities

Theories about the Genshin Impact suggest that unified civilizations existed at some point, and players have begun to point out some similarities between Dragonspine and Sumeru that may lend credence to fan theories. The most recent Genshin Impact update added a new desert region to Sumeru, but its mainline forest region still has secrets to be discovered.

Reddit user u/Usual Presentation53 shared an image comparing two nearly identical ruins found in the Dragonspine and Sumeru regions of Genshin Impact. The ruins contain the same symbol found in ancient civilizations such as Khaenri'ah and Celestia. The architecture suggests that Teyvat had two unified civilizations thousands of years before the Traveler and Paimon's journey began. Although the exact names of the civilizations have yet to be determined, members of the community have begun to share their own ideas based on in-game text and lore.
