Following weeks of rumors in the gaming community, Valve has officially announced that The International 2022 will take place in Singapore, bringing the tournament to Southeast Asia for the first time in its 11-year history.

The tournament will once again take place in October, indicating that Valve will continue to use the TI10 date. At the conclusion of the current competitive season, fans will also know exactly where the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena, Dota 2's largest stage, will be located.
