Genshin Impact Leak Hints at New Enemies in Version 3.6

A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed a batch of new enemies planned to be added to the game with Version 3.6 later this year, including a new version of a classic enemy. Throughout the HoYoverse RPG's many updates, the game has added a variety of new enemies for players to challenge and defeat. Each region has added its distinctive group of enemies like Sumeru's Eremites and Inazuma's Kairagi, while new bosses have brought unique strategies in Genshin Impact. Now, players are getting a sneak peek of what to expect in Version 3.6.

While Genshin Impact has yet to release its Version 3.5 update, scheduled to launch in early March, leaks have already given fans an idea of what to expect beyond the next patch. Previous leaks have suggested Version 3.6 will see the release of the long-awaited Baizhu after the character first appeared early in Genshin Impact's story. Other rumors have heavily suggested Sumeru's desert region will receive yet another expansion as part of the Version 3.6 update. Now, a recent leak has suggested several new enemies will appear during the patch.

An update from Genshin Impact leaker Babey shares a list of new enemies expected to join the game in Version 3.6. The game's iconic Hilichurl enemies will reportedly be receiving two new variants in Version 3.6, with Anemo and Hydro variants of the Hilichurl Rangers planned to appear. The RPG will also debut a new Abyss enemy, likely to go along with a story connected to the mysterious region, as well as the new "Consecrated" enemy with Hydro and Dendro forms. Version 3.6 will even feature a new Trounce Domain, simply titled Apep, likely going with the rumored desert expansion.

While few specific details have been revealed about Genshin Impact's Version 3.6, future patches have seen a plethora of information leaked in recent weeks. The game's next major region of Fontaine has seen its first leaks with a lineup of 10 characters believed to be from Fontaine and Mondstadt revealed. Leaks about map data and models have also begun to give players an idea of what the region will look like, from layout to specific structures within Fontaine.

Along with future leaks, Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 3.5 has seen plenty of details about the game's next patch revealed. Coinciding with Version 3.4's launch, HoYoverse officially confirmed Dehya and Mika as the two characters set to join the Genshin Impact update in March. Leaks from the next update have also revealed the return of the fan-favorite Windblume festival, as well as a new Archon Quest and updates to Genius Invokation TCG. Genshin Impact looks to have lots in store for its players throughout the first half of 2023.
