Fallout 76 is offering daily anniversary gifts in addition to a Halloween event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Fallout franchise, which was celebrated this month. Along with the anniversary freebies, Fallout 76 players can take part in a range of Halloween-themed in-game activities and win festive goodies.

The popular Fallout RPG series, which has been around for 25 years, has gone a long way from its early days as a collection of quirky post-apocalyptic isometric RPGs. Since then, the series has grown to include expansive open-world first- or third-person RPGs and a number of spinoffs, such the survival strategy game Fallout Shelter and the turn-based Fallout Tactics. Fallout 76, the most recent installment in the series, is the game's first attempt to introduce multiplayer to the Fallout setting. The game has significantly improved thanks to numerous upgrades and is starting to make a comeback after a poor debut that drove off gamers due to issues, a lack of content, and little NPC interaction.
