Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Will Have Dismemberment

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appears to have quietly revealed that limb amputation would be possible when using the lightsaber in a recent gameplay analysis video. The highly anticipated sequel's fighting features seem to be more realistic than simply whacking opponents with the iconic Star Wars weapon.

Fallen Order, the first game in the series, has recently become one of the most popular Star Wars video games. Many fans of the movies and some who weren't even Star Wars fans at all found the game to be a fun experience thanks to the fantastic gameplay and the opportunity to explore and learn more about the lore of Star Wars. Several gamers, however, were first turned off by the lack of dismemberment in the game because it goes against the whole idea of a lightsaber. If a lightsaber existed in the real world, it would undoubtedly sever the limbs of anyone unlucky enough to come in contact with it.

If footage from a gameplay sample is to be trusted, it appears that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has learned from this error in an exciting turn of events. There is a variety of footage describing the battle stances that will appear in the game in an eight-minute video provided by IGN. At four minutes and a few seconds, the main character Cal is seen slicing off the leg of an enemy Scout Trooper.

In the recent weeks, multiple minutes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gameplay have been made available, but this video appears to be the first to reveal the inclusion of a dismemberment element. Even if dismemberment only occurs sometimes, people who complained that the feature was missing from Fallen Order will be able to rejoice. It is currently unclear whether this will be a frequent occurrence or not. Only a small portion of this act of human dissection was captured on camera, but it almost clearly displayed the attribute.

Star Wars Jedi: Survival is without a doubt one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year. There are a lot of expectations placed on this sequel as a result of the prior installment's immense popularity. The addition of realistic mechanics to one of the most recognizable weapons in science fiction in order to make the gameplay more immersive is a promising start. Many fans are anticipating this next installment in the series to be even bigger and better.
